To compare the effects of PW with CW exposure, both 1mW/cm2 and 5mW/cm2 groups were exposed to 2.45 GHz continuous wave.

The enzymes were decreased only in the 5mW/cm2 group. It was concluded that the PW radiation is more effective than CW in decreasing SDH and MAO levels.

Pu et al reported the pulsed microwave effects on adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the mouse brain and SDH in hypothalamus and hippocampus.
