- GEP -- Good Epidemiological Practices
- GEP was a standard designed to be used by epidemiologists in a way that raised the bar of proof so high, the regulators (EPA, FDA, OSHA, etc.) could never jump over it. It was a direct attack on the idea that regulators shoul apply precautionary principles as evidence mounts, before generally-accepted 'proof' of a danger is established. SEE PROOF
